Recently won this snare. It's a '65. Got this as an addition to my '67 blue sparkle Downbeat. Any other input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I like that look! And the added MIJ would not have been noticed if you hadn't said anything. Well, at least by me....That's the one you said sounds like a cannon, is it not? Did you paint the inside of that Jet?

Hi, yes I've painted the inside of the Jet to match the rest of the kit. The snare is supposed to be a "Buddy Rich" Super Classic.

Well, here it is with the kit! It sounds great too. Not anything spectacularly better than the Acrolite but it looks great with the blue sparkle. Thanks for all the input.
