In GC Manchester today.
WFL 20" bass drum, unmolested with rail and cymbal mount top dead center. Vent/badge off to the side. Original looking rather cheesy legs attached to the side (folding style). Missing a few claws/t-rods but looks like an easy restore.
Attached to that is a 13" tom with a Ludwig transition badge, also blue sparkle and looked unmolested at a glance.
8-lug WFL blue sparkle snare with the big "classic" snare strainer.
I think they wanted $800 for the lot, and I can't afford them. The snare won't be separated out (or I'd probably be posting pics of it right now).
If I could afford it, I'd keep the snare and bass and let the tom go to finance a 12" WFL tom and then swap a kidney for a 14" WFL floor tom.
It has potential, and the price seemed reasonable/high-ish to me. With a floor tom (transition or WFL) this would be a killer deal in my opinion. Experts chime in!
I have nothing in this other than passing on the find for other members here...
