I have a great brass snare that I enjoy...ok, it's the famed Black Beauty 6.5 version...I'll admit it! Do you guys think also owning an aluminum snare of the same size is a good thing? I'm definitely keeping the brass, but wondering if an aluminum (you know the ones) would be different enough to validate having that additional snare...only talking 6.5x14 versions here. Or will brass more or less cover the same ground as an aluminum drum. Thoughts?
