that is another new to me Sonor kit from circa 1970 its a bit of a puzzle to me but it sounds even better than the standards imho ..I started a thread about it ...by the way I love your burgundy sparkle Ludwigs ...I had the chance to play an identical kit in late 60,s ...my friend owned it ...gawd I loved it then and I still covet it today...I had a black diamond pearl Rogers kit with a metal Dynasonic , which gave me volume advantage on the backbeat....but the tone of his toms ,even with the Ludwig heads smoked my Rogers which were kind of dead flat sounding in comparison (-: Pleased to meet you .....Steve M

Well now, that Blue Mist kit is indeed very scarce, and approaching rare. That's the illusive model S-320. You can tell that yours is factory, as it has the single tom mount, but more importantly, the bass mounted cymbal arm mount. Most of the kits with the 22" bass ended up being the five piece model S-330.
Sweet find!
At $350.00, you stole 'em.

I guess I'm gonna have to break down and get me a wood Ludwig Standard to see what the fuss is all about. I have a Standard snare but its metal.
