Brownish 70's Supraphonic? Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Has anyone ever seen a supraphonic in this finish? I'm assuming it was painted at some point, but I figured I would ask here to see if anyone has seen this before. The strainer appears to be a replacement as well.

I believe this is an 8 lug Acrolite with Imperial (Supraphonic) lugs. Supra's are 10 lug.

Drew, can you post a larger and better pic of the drum take a pic of the inside of the shell also?. but I'm with surface, I think this is a refinished Acrolite, there are eight lug supraphonics and they are super rare and they are chrome, but I'm fairly sure this Isn't one of those.

Unfortunately I can't take any more photos. This drum was listed on craigslist and I was thinking about grabbing it. I'll email the seller and ask for more photos.

Ok, but if the asking price is over the mid one hundreds, I would probably pass on it.

I posted a thread on 12/30/10, titled "65 Ludwig Supraphonic"....indeed this is an 8 lug Supra (thanks to this forum)Bowing

As a B/O badge, can only assume this is an acrolite.

A quick determination and sorry for me not recalling this from a thread a few days back! A thread was opened about a muffler....and that the screw was on top....we determined that it was for a 70's supraphonic due to, if the screw was on the bottom, it would be drilled through the belt line. This being on top, can not be a Supra...
