Nice job keeping score GAR. Yes it's getting messy over on Kijiji Toronto. I know there are some angry people here and with good reason. Fraudulent instruments or anything else is terrible, disgusting and just plain wrong. The names are out in the open now so it may be a good time for the whistle blowers to back off a bit. It looks like they are gonna tear themselves apart in Port Hope with the messages going back and forth on Kijiji. To those who got scammed, it's awful that it happened to you and I'm sure you're angry as I would be, too, but you don't want things you say here to bite you in the backside. I'm sure everyone here is grateful to the informants and now that the word is out, be careful for for your own best interest.

The guy who buys COB Dynasonics and turns the parts onto a keller shell has been around for years. He has sold on ebay for years. I am not absolutely sure, but I dont think he ever represented one of his reproduction drums as real, at least not that I can recall. Of that I am sure.
Any time someone is trying to sell you a polished and pretty wood Dynasonic for pennies of what you know its worth, take a deep breath, look into the mirror, and whisper....... Dont be an idiot.
Then walk away and forget you ever saw it. Because it is not the real thing.
The most important thing a person can to to protect against fraud is to do your due diligence in research, so that you know exactly what you are looking at before you hand over the cash. And come on man, once a person has been busted in one dishonest sale, only a fool would entertain the thought of buying ANYTHING from that seller again.
