Anyone know what the early trap instrument was called that was made of two peices of wood, joined with a handle and slapped on the knee? It was rectangular about 6 inches in length.I can't find searching for a "slapper or clapper instrument." A buddy was willed a complete Ludwig set with AAAALLLL the bells and wistles.
