I finally put them all together and played them for a bit..I decided I'm going to keep them for now..probably one the nicest sounding sets I've ever laid hand to..if not the best ever..

Thanks for all the inquiries..if I decide in the next few weeks to sell..I will contact you then.

Here are some pics..

Okay, you're killing me here! As if the Camco kit wasn't enough, you've got it set up with a 6 1/2 x 14 Ludwig Deluxe! Congrats on the kit! Clapping Happy2

They look Fantastic together!, and bet they sound even better... I wonder what an 1960s Oaklawn era 14x24" would sound like in place of the 20"? Seems like that might be a good fit also with the 13,16, and 6 1/2" deep snare. Great news that you are going to keep them. I had serious sellers remorse when I sold my L.A. era Camco's to one of the recording artist in London.(14x24,10x14,16x16,16x18, and the 8 lug, 6 1/2x14" matching snare drum) I wouldn't wish that feeling on anyone...

What a wonderful kit. I just put together my first Camco kit.20, 12, 14 no snare yet. I'm using two Noble & Cooley SS Snares 5x14 and 7x14. Also 60's Gretsch 5x14. Can't wait to find Camco or George Way snare. Man, I'm telling you, If you sell those, one day your brain is going to explode. You'll never forgive yourself. I remember when I got rid of my Roundbadge Gretsch kit.18,12,14.and 5x14 snare .That was 10 years ago.I thought I wanted something newer.Well, you live to learn.

Vintage Camco's and Geo. Way drums are simply (bar-none) the best sounding tubs you can own/play. I've never played anything like them in my 50 years of whacking drums.

Don't blame you one bit for keeping them. Enjoy...

John

Too many great drums to list here!
