Hoops for LA camco is same as all others hoops. Its the drumshells that are "kraftigt" undersized.

So you could buye allmost any hoops att all and mount on your set.

Sometimes hoops shows upp on E-bay. But I do not know if there is some difernce between diferent Camco era.

Naother idea is to get DW hoops. DW hoops should be the same, at least earlier. DW:s Collectors seriewas from the begining exactly the same that our LA set is, and all after, they get "modernised".

And I think it s maybe easier to get DW hoops than Camco?

I do have 2 12" camco ( LA???) hoops, in allmost mint condition, but since I am looking for 12" tom (or 16"floor) in Ebony stain ( or walnut if I never get that Ebony - says been ultrarare finish ), I have no plan to sell them. Hwo know, maybe in the future I somehow get a 12 shell without hoops?

Was it concert toms original, or someone took away hoops ( as ususaly in 80:s???)

I sew your other post, and I thought you was the one who has buy those red Camco with Ludwig floortome on Blocket, for a few week ago.

I see there that you need even claws and B-drum screws. DW:s collector serie ( earlier ) have a IDENTICAL claws and screws.So when tou are huning LA Camco parts, take a look even on DW.

LA, Chenute, and later Oaklawn hoops were the same as Pearl hoops of that era. I'm sure Camco saved a lot of money by switching to this version.

My favorites are the later Oaklawn brass with the flat outward flanges similar to Ludwig's. They were not as tall as the original rolled over hoops so they matched the hight of other snare drums that you might try with your set.

They only made these for a very short time so they are hard to find.
