Burgundy rules! Mine is actually a twin 12 kit but I play it as a 4 piece. The bass drum is a rare 12x20.

Stedi, I'm sure you've answered this question 100 times. Is your Alice Cooper kit a lacquer or wrap? Your drums are gorgeous. My wife was walking by when I was looking at the AC kit and she even freaked out over it!

Camco's...

Can't live with 'em, can't live without... (lame analogy)

Purdie; I've actually been thinking of doing the same thing... whittling down the pack to three or four kits. I can't sell the one's I had as a kid, the Standard's, but really...

I was thinking of finding a 22" matching Camco bass and just swapping drums around as required by the venue.

Am I nuts?

Here's my '73 LA kit... see more on my website.

Ha, thanks Dan.

The Alice Cooper finishes (white and blue) are Lacquered.

Apparently Camco used an industrial Auto-grade paint for it.

It has a slightly metallic touch to it and the color itself changes a lot under different lightning.

I'm just impressed that someone had the good sense to incorporate some Rogers parts into that Camco set. That is icing on the cake!

Looks just like my '65 kit, except mine had a silly rail.

Got rid of them because the Rogers are so superior. Bowing

(OK, so I admit the Camcos sound alright, especially with the Aristocrat wooden shell snare and those lovely rolled over triple flanged hoops and that smoothest in the industry Aristocrat throwoff. - Don't get me going.)

That is a great looking set of drums . I love the Swivo add to the Camco mount can I get some specifics on how that was done ? Thank you

Warning ... Avoid member statuscymbal here, vintage_collector on DFO , and americanpatriot10 on eBay. Email me for his name. All are the same shady guy who has burned me and a list of other members on both boards . He is also selling on Facebook too ..
