Hey Lefty, Welcome to VDF!

Sweeeeeet kit! Couple thousand dollars worth of 'joyful noise-makers' there. I own/play a set of Oaklawn Camco's myself. Best sounding/playing drume ever made in the USA - ever!

Hope to hear more from you in the future. How long have you had these? Are you the original owner? How do -you- like them?

Man, I can't believe you chopped the center of your reso head out like that. That bass drum, with a nice coated REMO or Evans head (even if you port it on one side,) and that bass drum will 'sing' with a beautiful, deep, rich tone like you've never heard before. I love the sound of mine. (14" x 20")

Too many great drums to list here!

Me and your dad are probably about the same age!

How long have you been playing? What kind of music do you play?

Here's a shot of mine: (Re-wrapped orphans) 13", 15", 16" 20" w/matching 5"x14" snare.

Oh yeah! Nice kit and pleased to meet you. John's right. Put a head on that drum. My Camco is a big LA kit, 13, 14, 16, 18, 24. I've never had the matching snare.

Love the "gw" logo!

The logo was a gift from Dolfan (Steve) who is as close to an expert on George Way and Camco drums as there is. The bass drum in my kit is only one of two known examples of a 14" x 20" BD made by George Way. The logo is Steve's design and he gave it to me as a 'finishing touch' for my kit. Cool play on the DW logo.

Not anymore! Your George Way 14x20 is one of 4 that I know of now. Ironically 3 of the 4 are blue sparkle including the one I acquired earlier this year.
