Those aren't true Camco's. I've heard them called Tamco's as they were built by Tama after they acquired Camco. Some folks say they are great drums. I've never had much of an opinion. Only been around one Tama / Camco kit, and it was poorly tuned. IMHO, that's kind of steep for this kit.
Those are the first generation Camco's that were made by Tama. Shells are usually maple, some have re-rings, some don't. The tom holders were usually typical to Tama's, but from the pics you supplied, the tom mount looks to be more like L.A. Camco's.
Clearer pics of the shells, interior (rings or not) lugs would be helpful.
As far as a grand for the kit......I paid 200 for mine, refinished and a bit beat up, but a grand for that is a bit steep. Just the kit with the snare...$400-$500.
The kit looks to be in good shape, those are probably Keller shells too.

Yep, what he said.
Also to add to the confusion Tamco is an actual name that has nothing to do with Camco or Tama. Tamco drums are entry level firewood.
1978 right? Do the shells have re-rings?
I went and took a look at those drums before he put up pictures. I told him they were Tamas. They were listed for $800 previously, so I'm not sure why he raised the price? Craigslist people are strange that way, they get no action so they figure raising their price will generate a sale.
Someone also added Tama floor tom mounts to the 13" rack tom, I pointed that out to him as well. He mentioned that one of the cymbals had a chip in it, in actualality the cymbal had two massive chunks missing from it. I mean like 3 sqaure inch chunks.
Either way, they're firewood. Entire kit is worth maybe $400, mostly due to the 70's A's that came with it.
