Definition of "best"? I happen to think Camco drums sound nice but, so do my Rogers, Slingerland, Gretsch, WFL, and even my Ludwig. Incoming!SC

I agree with you, I'm not sure why everyone goes so gags over Camco. No doubt they are nice drums, but they don't sound any better than Rogers and the hardware is inferior. I think it's the round lugs, that now of course dw is using.

Any mid 60's big name kits al sound great

It's ok if you don't get it. Other than the swivo hardware I don't get the gaga factor over Rogers drums. But that's why there are so many choices, something for everyone.
