Hello, I have this drum kit, and Ive searched high and low to identify it, and hoped someone here might know what it is and from what year? I cant find any serial numbers either.

Its a laquered wood, made by premier, looks about 80-90's and it very sturdy.

Heres a close up pic.

Many thanks in advance people!

Andy

Premier made a kit kit called APK in mid eighties, and by the mid 90's were making the XPK,a higher end or deluxe version of the APK,yours looks from mid 90's,if the interiors are not black, and are natural stain and look like birch,or like the outside they would be the XPK,birch outer and inner with eucalyptus inner or core plies. They were considered a semi pro/pro kit,and were very nicely appointed for the time, and nice kits I thought.I think that finish was called Topaz.

I have this same kit. I call it my mystery kit because I can find no information on it. I thought it was a maple premier astria kit but im clueless. My sizes are 14 snare. 12 and 13 toms. 16 mounted toms and 22 bass. If you find anything about these please let me know. I had the most popular page on vacebook post an pic and ask. No one knows. If you do find something out, email me at [email protected] thanks :)
