I've had these drums since 1996. I bought them while I was in the Army. I was stationed in Germany and the guy I bought them from wanted 300 marks. Then they where stored for ten years till I set them up and bought the parts I needed to start jamming.Drum size heads
These where added on later 6/8 timbales*10- psp 14- snare
Ludwig rockers heads on bottom a date of 1985 then 988 or 888 after stamped on the inside of the lower bass drum. I'm not sure. I do know it has lacquer on the inside. 8/10 toms 14/15 toms 22 bass
I found that the sizes where not regular sizes for today on the same kit. Kind of weird but I love them. They play very well and I can get all kindes of sounds out of them.
I also bought a snare Ludwig standard for my set. I would like to know more about them as far as value and time period. Anything you can input would be cool. I love the history of Ludwig. Thanks!
