To answer yr question...ya...its worth the $350...

Make sure to get all the hardware you can and get him to throw in some old cymbals..

Extra skins..etc.

If Not ...then $300 even Tx incld...

Also look around for some hoops for the concert toms...turn them into regular toms is the way to go...
