Can anyone help with Rogers drum identification Last viewed: 35 minutes ago

I trying to figure out the year of these drums. The first one serial number is from an 8 x 12 tom D 962065. The second is from the snare drum D 956723. They can from a complete Rogers set that I recently purchased. Also, did Rogers Kits just put the serial numbers on ONE tom? My Kit has the serial number on the 8 x 12 Tom, the other toms and base drum do not have serial numbers. Thanks.

Lets start with the snare drum. I need to see more of it. Throw off knob top and dampener knob top.

The drums..... speckled gray with reinforcing rings or natural maple, no rings? Gotta see this stuff.

Off hand, you have an early XP8 set of drums. But..... well they could be late five ply, although, I have not seen any five ply with no serial badges. 1979 early XP8 is my first guess.

I will post more pics soon..... All drums are natural inside, none are the speckled gray. The only drums that have serial numbers are the two that I indicated above (i.e., 8 x 12 Tom and the Chrome snare). Thanks for the help......
