See attached photo. This is a 4 piece Ludwig Standard kit. I don't think I've yet to see a smaller 4 piece Standard like this. Does the bass mount appear to be original? Seller says yes but I'm not sure.

nice color also snare is cool i saw that good luck tell us how they sound...

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

yep, that looks correct from here too. appears to be a 20/12/14 kit based on the 8 lugs on the bass drum. those are very desirable. nice to have the matching snare. is that bronze strata or gold strata?

Yes,mount is correct....

When I fist got online 15 or so years ago....I found a set EXACTLY like this at a music store in Texas for.......$100!

Of course I grabbed it......

Think I flipped it to Japan....can't remember exactly though.....

Those were the days!

Around the same time...found a Rogers 14 by 18 Cleve BDP BD online a guy had in Virginia who wanted to trade me his drum for my 14 by 22 BDP Ludwig I had.....not a tough decision on my part on that one..x-mas3..esp since I had the matching 8 by 12 and 14 by 14 here already!

I was watching that kit on eBay myself. Did you get 'em?

They went pretty cheap, a tad over $550.00 I think, prob due to the owie on the bd wrap. I nearly bid on them myself, but I've got a Ruby Strata S-300 kit already.

Gold Strata in Downbeat sizes...what's not to like? I have the exact same set (and another one in Lemon Strata). The tom holder is set up a bit weird ("L" arm appears to be upside down) but that's the right set-up.

The 12/14/20 sets seem harder to find than the 13/16/22 (or the 12/13/16/22 five piece). The bigger sets weren't that much more expensive and it seems that most buyers opted to spend a bit more for bigger (or more) drums.
