Well...I hate to say this but...
I can identify that as not being an actual Slingerland kit.
Sorry...
Yeah sorry dude ,but the only thing Slingerland about that kit is the badges and stickers.
They don't resemble anything ever made by Slingerland.I wouldn't swear to it,but they look European made, and NOT US.
I would bring them back to the seller (thief/counterfeiter/scammer),and get my coin back right away.If you can't do that.......I hope you didn't pay a lot...which was how much BTW.
Steve B
Ritchie is 100% correct those badge are off of marching percussion. someone placed them on this drumkit. It is not a Slingerland kit.
The BD badge looks to be from a canister throne !i
In pic 3..
you can see that the rods are (slotted) not yr usual squared..
MMMMmmmmm
and that the bass drum has a metal hoop with the rods going into (thru)
like a regular tom..?
I've seen this before...but not on a slinger..
The slotted rods are (premier/John gray/English made...correct.?
Definitely NOT Slingerland drums. Someone put Slingerland outer shell badges from the Double Setomatic Holder era on the shells. But the drums themselves are of European manufacture and likely 70's vintage. I'm no authority but the overall appearance of the kit looks like Takton of GDR East Germany - made during the Soviet bloc years. I wouldn't rule out Amati though I've never seen any of their drums with those style lugs. I most definitely think the drums are about as cool as can be possible and would love to own them! Perhaps they're an actual Soviet era CCCP drumkit. There sure are some amazing drums appearing on this forum as of late! Wonders never cease!

No any similarities absolutely.
I suppose that is something from Hungary or Poland (not POLMUZ, but maybe Szpaderski).
George.
It's Szpaderski from Łódź , Poland
