Does someone know what cowbell Mr.Palmer is using on this Video at 01:23 or what cowbell (that they sell today) comes close?

I never knew his stainless kit was so heavy. In another vid he said it took 2 guys to lift the bass drum. All 1/2" stainless steel shells. The etchings on them are beautiful.

I have an LP-205 "Timbale" cowbell that sounds just a bit lower than the c b Carl hits 3 times. It might be a good place to start as any two cowbells of the same model number will most likely have a variances in pitch unless they're precisely tuned to exact pitch. Thanks for posting the vid. Carl is amazing.

I don't know, man. He's certainly a great drummer, but that piece, even considering the era, is odd - especially the beginning. Almost seemed to just hit stuff, to just hit stuff. I like Kevins's pollygrip reference. Takes a good, stable set of choppers to ring that bell. (Good grief.)

The cow bell sounds like the LP I have, albeit, mine is a tad lower, too. Maybe his bell was SS?
