I just picked up a real nice (slightly under) 18 inch CB700 crash that I am now seeking a very similar 16 inch crash to match. (This 18 I just bought was only the 2nd keeper B8 cymbal I have ever owned outside the Cambers and Scimitars I had 25 years ago in the first years of playing) I believe (please correct me if I am wrong) that the dimensions will indicate that it is an Italian made CB700 as opposed to a Taiwanese. It will be something like 15 and 5/16 or 15 and 7/8. I have recently seen (on Ebay) a 16 one of these, but it was way too thick- like a ride - at 1400 grams - too bad........
I have attached the stamp for it and I believe it is B8, but they actually sound great (it IS possible with B8s afterall).
Here, also is a link to a vid that is a nice sample of the 18 that I got. I want a 16 that matches that in sound.
