Hi guys - I've got several old hoops (hope to have pictures up soon). One in particular is a 14" wood hoop with a badge on the side that says "C.G. Conn". Anyone have any idea what time period we're talking about? I may be selling these soon because I don't really have a use for them or the time to mess with them (too many other projects). Thanks for reading.

Hi Drummincat,
Is yours similar to either of these? There are several versions of this badge, some with serial numbers and some not, some engraved and others stamped. We're probably talking mid 20s or earlier - certainly prior to Conn's acquisition of Leedy and then Ludwig by 1929 - 1930.

My badge is black with silver lettering. I don't really have a use for them but I don't want to GIVE them away but I'd probably let them go for pretty cheap. Any suggestions as to what something like this might be worth? I don't always have the opportunity to check messages on here. You can contact me at as well.

I believe I know the one you're talking about. More like this one? Mid late 20s is my guess. I can't say that I have a need for it but someone out there would be interested if you ebayed it. You could also gently lift the badge from the hoop and sell it that way.
