Yeah what he said. I would also buy that kit if i had the means to do it. Just because of the man behind the drums.

I think a kit like that should be in a Rock and Roll museum.

I agree, we should have a museum for these sets that all end up in private collections never to be seen again. I know I would pay quite a bit to be able to see some of the sets that were owned and made famous by so many. How much did the Ludwig set sell for that Michael Shrieve played at Woodstock with Santana? No doubt it will just go up in value as the years pass...and no doubt worth every penny and more! He flat out burned those drums up, making them and the solo famous and proved you don't need a double bass and 3 rack toms to shred it!

That would be an impossible kit to replicate!!!! Replicating a Moon kit would be relatively easy in comparison...

If everything were paid off and I had an extra $49K lying around, it would be mine and on display. It is way too important a kit to be hidden away...
