It sounds like a 1920s Super-Ludwig with calf heads and original wires...It's more collectable to me than what it sounds like...it could be made to sound better though with new heads and new Super wires.

Okay....I must ask the obvious questions here...

IF, (hypothetically or otherwise) you were to sell a drum like that, what would it cost the buyer?

Burger Kin

There isn't a more deluxe vintage drum...is there?

Here is what I believe is another Craigslist SCAM! http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/msg/2811575532.html I tried to buy it cause my brother lives in South Fl. The gal said I had to buy it through TiltYard Sales... I researched their site and found all their offices were located in storage unit complexes across the states. When I emailed them (they will not take phone calls) they said it had been sold. Yet it is still on Craigslist today.

That Miami drum was no scam. I also had concerns, but researched to find the company was legit. The problem was, by the time I got around to committing to buy, the drum had indeed been sold.

Only $53k? Heck, I've spent that much on something I can't remember sometime in the last fifty or so years...

I've got your book, that was a nice drum.
