Had a fun time there today. Ran into an old friend/first drum teacher and bought an 18 stick saver hoop for $10. Whoo-hoo!

Chicago Drum Show 2011

At 2:45 into the video, the red, silver, blue sparkle Ludwig kit and the drum kit at 3:41 was done by Billy Baker "Baker Drums" of Nashville, TN who I get to do all my drum work for me. Good guy and does awesome work.

I went Sunday and it was an awesome experience!! I would go back definatel but with a whole lot more money!! The knowledge in those rooms was incredible andmany answrs for future projects have been answered!! i no longer doubt my ability!!

I don't know how I missed the rest of you...

No worries, I was on a mission for networking and it turned out pretty good.

In regards to purchases, I ended up with 15 drum keys I did not have in the collection for under $20! I also got about 10lbs of free drum literature from a dealer friend and purchased a bunch of left-over literature from Billy J. at Classic Drummer Magazine.

The history collecting was my focus and that worked in my favor this year.

No drums!
