Here is the first version, I have 3 of them!! two are still nos in the box. If you sale yours don't sale it cheap.There is a reproduction version available that doesn't sound like the originals at all. So don't believe this tripe when someone tries to feed it to you that they sound the same. yeah right!!

I also have an original ching ring but Idont have the clutch mechanism to mount it on my hi hat rod.Did that come with it originally

I made it. very simple to do!. there are three circular fender tube spacers that I enlarged with a drill press, the clamp is a circular spacer drilled threaded then a small knob threaded into the spacer.

I have a complete original that I bought in the late '60s. It is stamped "Patent Pending". I still use it for every gig. One of the posts came off, but I still have the cymbals for it.

They did not come with a clutch. I guess they figured it would just hang on the hi-hat post, or use the hi-hat clutch like I did.
