Hey guys,

I recently picked up what looks to be a 67 or so Roger "Headliner" kit with Dayton tags minus the snare.

It has some issues and some missing parts but it will be cool after I refurb it a little.

:)

The dreaded tom mount hole.DOH

But I am on my way to a nice repair. Party

I cut some scrap wrap to fit the holes and then taped them down with blue painters tape.

Then I flipped it over and backfilled it with Sculptwood epoxy waited for it to dry and sanded it smooth.

Now I am waiting for a piece of wrap that I hope matches the og pretty close.

I will cut it to fit and 3m them in place.

Should be fun. Walking

That epoxy repair is sorta mesmerizing. I hope your wrap matches but it's almost a shame to cover a patch like that up!.......og lol had to think about that for a while.

Yeah, I hope it matches too.

I ordered a couple of samples from Precision.

They have a modern and a vintage version of Bermuda Sand.

I am hoping the vintage version is a close match.

But of course, any thing looks better than a big hole. Yes Sir

Check out these other repairs I have going on.

Don't ask me what the hell someone was thinking.

I took my bench grinder to this tom arm to try and get it back into shape.

I will be looking for a new tom arm but this will do for now.

And this collette plate was broken and brazed back and broken again.

I used Quick Steel epoxy and so far it is holding.

My neighbor and me both jammed out on them today.

Still holding. Party
