Any advise regarding a gentle method for cleaning a duco finished drum? It seems that this could be a delicate process, and am looking for some guidance before undertaking the detailing of a recently purchased 1941 Ludwig Standard snare drum. The finish appears to have yellowed over the years - could be smokey bar funk, and I'd obviously like to restore it to it's former glory without jeopardizing the finish. Thanks for sharing your expertise!

I use spray on auto detailer, you can get one that is a cleaner/wax combo.
