Does anyone know if the hole pattern and size are the same on 60's Slingerland tom for the diamond clip plate and the set-o-matic tom mount? In other words if I have to tom that has a set o matic mounting plate and I need it to be a diamond clip mount plate, will it fit without drilling new holes?

Yes, it will fit, as long as you use a real Slingerland diamond clip mount.
There are some similar diamond mounts that don't match up.
