Hello all, I have a COB Dynasonic snare drum and am trying to figure out what year/factory (Ohio or California?) the snare was built. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

1972-1973 by my best guess. Fullerton, CA. production.

TommyP will arrive shortly and verify....

my Dynosonic has #of 31114. the person I got it from said he'd bought it in 1975. Now if it was new not sure, so mine is a smaller number than the one on this thread. could mine be older than a 1975? hello plughman what do you think? The drum is such a good sounding drum, when tuned correctly. These guys will give you good info on that subject.

good luck with you'r Dyonsonic charles.they are a fantasic snare drum. I use the Aquarian Textured Coated head, Aquarian Classic Clear Snare head on my Dynosonic. IT ROCKS Excited

Oval badge Dynasonics topped out in the mid to upper 50,000 range in 1975, the numbering system terminated with the introduction of the Big R badge, and Big R Dynasonic numbers sequences arent specific to Dynasonics.
