Hey guys! Just figured I'd post this here...

1965 Slingerland Stage Band Outfit No. 74N drum kit, Red Glitter.

Comes with all the accessories that came with the original kit in 1965... and in near mint condition, save for:

-a little wear on bass drum hoop where tom tom was mounted (is covered when tom is mounted, but is worth mentioning none the less.)

-a little wear where the bass drum pedal is attached (also covered when pedal is attached)

-a minuscule (and I mean barely noticeable) mark on the snare drum near the snare strainer

Obviously, the original drum heads have seen their fair share of action (I don't know if anyone could expect them to be untouched!)

That's it! Everything else is in mint condition! From the shells on the drums to the hardware, it's all in fantastic shape! Look at these pictures, I have plenty to show if anyone wants to see them!

All drums are 3-ply maple, poplar and mahogany with re-enforcement rings, and double ended lugs. None of the hardware is stripped or damaged, and there is no pitting on any of the chrome.

As standard, the Slingerland Stage Band had only badges on the bass and snare, with no badges on the toms. Stamp on the inside of the floor tom dates this kit March 1965.

Includes: (w= wide & d=deep)

DRUMS:

-22" w x 14"d VIRGIN Bass Drum with Original Logo Slingerland/Weatherking heads (Resonant side head looks great, slightly darkened over the years but ofc. in great condition! Also includes original felt strip for muffling!) Features both spurs, and cymbal mount! Badge serial number: 19706

-15"w x 12"d Floor tom with push-button floor tom legs (all of them work and they look so classy!) with Original Logo Slingerland/Weatherking heads! NO BADGE, just like the catalog!

-13"w x 9"d Rack tom with mounting hardware and bass drum clamp, with Original Logo Slingerland/Weatherking heads! NO BADGE just like the catalog!

-14"w x 5.5"d Snare drum with All original heads and strands. Strainer and lugs are flawless. Action is smooth. The snare batter head is probably the most worn of them all (as expected) but Slingerland/Weatherking logo is still legible! Snare side head in fantastic shape! Badge serial number: 18585

HARDWARE:

-Slingerland Epic direct drive Single Bass Drum Pedal with original beater, slightly dusty but still works great and very smooth!

-Slingerland Chrome Snare Drum stand with flush-base. Looks great, works great!

-90 degree bass drum cymbal attachment, with all original felts and wingnut. Holds well, no slippage or stripping from either the mount screw or the cymbal screw. Sturdy and shiny!

-3.5" Slingerland Copper Cowbell with mounting hardware. This is slightly dirty over the years, but still sounds great. No issues what so ever with the mounting hardware, still is sturdy and doesn't move if played.

I'm going to put this up on eBay pretty quick but I'd figure I'll entertain some offers here if anyone is interested. It's a collector's piece in prime condition, so please no low balls.

Here are some pictures of the kit:

Hello again guys, my asking price would be $1300 w/ shipping to lower 48, or consequently the best offer I can get. I'm going to put these up on eBay as a buy it now at that price in a few days if no-one wants it here, and after that they still do't sell it's going up for auction.
