Here are some pics of the Pearls I just refinished. The birch veneer that was under the old wrap was good enough to work with.

Man that looks good!! I have a big ol' Pearl dx 6 piece kit (5 toms and a bass drum) that I just "unwrapped" and was planning on doing something similar to. I don't think I could ever get it to look as good as that though! What did you use to finish those shells?
