I emailed Goodwill several times recently complaining about their weight estimations & shipping prices. They were claiming ridiculous weights that were simply made up. I received answers from 3 different managers with bland explanations filled with corporate gobbledegook. They were hoping I knew nothing about shipping, package sizes , oversize fees, ballon charges, etc etc.,

This bass drum ships for $121 UPS, for Goodwill. Because of it's ballon size it's estimated at 107 lbs shipping weight. It would probably go out USPS, economy at 25% of that. (UPS has the worst pricing structure, & Goodwill is a scam corporation).

So right on that! The shipping is a joke when it comes to the GW.That's why i try to bid on a item were i have a friend that can go pick it up for me or post here asking for some help..Lasy week the matching tom sold for 76.00 the floor tom is at 51.00 and the bass is at 101.00 right now...Maybe the bidder lives hear so they can pick them up....Mikey
