Cool Old Drum Practice Pads Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Hi Mike, I found this in a old trap case of stuff that came from a estate sell.

I had it out by the pool and was going to throw it out. I brought it in and snapped some shots of it. I think late 50's early 60's? It is attached to a wire music type stand. Would you want something like this?

Hi,Besides collecting vintage snare drums, old drum keys, old drum catalogs, old sticks, old bass drum pedals, old bass drum pedal beater balls and assorted old drum memorabilia, I also collect old and new drum pads. There is a cool vibe to and old drum pad as to who played it, where, when etc. Here are three examples. Feel free to contact me if you have anything like this for sale... I used to have one similar to the red unit. Parents bought it for me back in '73.

Thanks for the memories.

Mike, I love the text on the back of the Bower. great stuff.

I had the thick chunk of brown rubber practice pad that tdennis showed. Got the drum, pad, my haskell harr book and one pair of sticks. Mom took me to the music store and bought it all recommended by the clerk. My nephew keeps it now with his drum stuff. James

I still have my original Ludwig practice pad and original sticks from Nov. of 1959. I also kept my original snare drum from the first drumset that my parents bought me, it was a used 1951 4 pc. WMP Leedy & Ludwig set...The snare , pad and sticks are part of my vintage display in my home. Great memories!

Very cool, Mike! I studied with Ron Fink at North Texas. Awesome collection!

Do you have any of those "Set The Pace" pedal practice pad sets made by Ralph Pace? Those were way cool!
