CORDER drums (not super vintage...) Last viewed: 7 hours ago

Does 1985 fall under the title as "vintage"? Im not sure but I want to throw a post up on any forum I can in an attempt to find someone out there with some corder drums.

Most of you know, some may not, Corder was a small company that bought out the toolings from Fibes when they folded.. He built nice kits with Jasper shells (sometimes keller) and Fibes hardware/ Tama mounts...

I just picked up a kick drum and three rack toms. I tracked down the guy who originally owned them, he says they were bought new in '85.

Im looking for a floor tom. Don't care what color it is, and It can be a DARWIN (another small company who made the same drums after corder) or FIBES (but not fiberglass fibes)

Can any of you guys steer me in the right direction? Ebay is obviously the first place that comes to mind but its a rare occasion that Corder stuff shows up on there.

Hi bbeyer!

I did business with the Corder brothers years ago. A great group of guys and excellent drums! I still have their catalog, along with color samples they sent me of wrap samples.

As to "vintage", your drums are almost 30 years old. I'd say that qualifies as "vintage"!

If you're looking for a floor tom, try putting your request in the "wanted" section. You never know who may have one! Best of luck to and enjoy your Corders!

Of course the floor tom I want shows up on eBay, being used as a huge rack tom, In the same color as my drums.. But the guy will only sell the complete kit and he wants too much

I haven't posted any updates on this kit in a while. I wrapped it in green sparkle from jammin Sam. Found a 13x14 hanging floortom that was painted black, no badge. Looks like a Keller shell since I don't see the usual jasper maple and gum layup. I also found an nos jasper 15" shell that will eventually become a second FT
