Hi there, this is my first post on here and im looking forward to some decent answers and possible debate!

ive come across this snare which is a beauty, the only problem is the badge has been removed and i cant recognise any of the hardware. here is some details.

it is steel, and has a gold/black tape band running through the mniddle.

it 10 lug, the lugs are hinge like , and the hoop has no holes, its triple flange and is clipped down

original strainer removed and replaced with a lugwig one.

there is a dampener which is attached and operated through a single grommet hole

the badge has been removed but there is a small bit left which could be either silver grey or white

its an absolute beauty and im very curious, especially about these lugs as ive searched high and low for any similar.

Remove a lug and see if it has anything inside to help like MIJ or Pearl or something the likes.

Wow! Super cool kit and the hardware setup is especially interesting. It's as if they had the rack concept ahead of its day.

Is that your kit Fayray? If so, have you committed it to the forum gallery and do you use it?

not mine I'm afraid Dan, I just found it on the net to show drumattic what he had. I did see a kit for sale here a while back but it was incomplete, missing a tom or something, so I figured it would a mission to complete it. They are very rare
