Could this be a vintage wfl set ? Last viewed: 54 minutes ago

Judging from the faded blue sparkle into that really nice aqua sparkle,

(or maybe it's just the lighting ?) This looks like a WFL kit, but the tom post is not correct for this era.. Seller is also including all hardware, and one set of timbales.. It's also negotiable..If i didn't just get my vintage Yamaha Tour series drums, i'd be all over these..

What do you WFL or Ludwig experts think ?

The mount on bd is newer and the color as well , 90's kit

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Are you sure man? That's not a sparkle. That's a glass glitter. Ludwig went to sparkle in 60,61. The mount is definitely newer. But I think it's worth investigating if he's interested.

I don't think so.. The badge doesn't look like 90's era Ludwig..Badge is too small compared to the larger 80's and 90's keystone badge..The brass also looks darker on it, which means it's probably older than 90's..But the tom mount is definitely modern.. . The wrap doesn't look like anything Ludwig was doing in the 90's either..The seller has mostly 60's vintage hardware, except for the 80's Tama boom stand, so i don't think he'd have a 90's kit with vintage hardware..Doesn't make sense. Looks like a slightly modified WFL to me.. Also, if you look closely, look to the bottom right of pic #3, and you'll just make out the bottom of a straight floor tom leg, also indicative of WFL kits..

Here's a kit i found on the internet that looks just like the one in the ad.. Small, darkened brass badges, straight floor tom legs, and aqua glass glitter finish..
