I would guess just the bell part of it not including the handle. I've never measured one, I just picked the one that has the sound for me.

Found this: Tradition states that the alpine dairy herdsmen must relieve their cows of their large festive Treicheln and carry them themselves the last kilometer to the alpine huts where they will spend the summer months.
It's a Swiss cowbell or Treicheln.
