Certainly timely to our book quest... looks like a nice display item that has been put together.. if you're into that kind of thing.

Check this guys other auctions.. some cool stuff.

This is cool, I have been communicating with the seller.. I just got his home number.. His family relation will come to play later in a feature I want to do on Andy Florio..

There is very little if anything written about this old time drummer, but the story for me is that he had documented and collected a huge collection of items, way before there was a market for it. That makes me wonder why and what type of person he was.

I have items in my collection stamped by Andy and he documented everything he collected.

He was a big band drummer, inventor, actor, collector with almost nothing about him on the Internet.

I will hopefully through the seller talk to his sister and possibly shed more light on the type of person he was.

I'm not sure if any one really is interested, but as a collector I thought he was due some type of tribute.

His items are legit and Andy was well known in the business..

These names that pop up on the discussion board always seem to lead down interesting paths... usually "the one less travelled."

If Andy Florio took the time to document what was going on around him at the same time he was a real part of it then he had unique perspective, priceless insight, and perhaps most important a sense of responsibility to record a little history.. I'm sure his story is well worth telling.
