If David doesn't have it in his collection.. I noticed on the Drummerworld.com article that the owner of that copy was listed on the page:

"Owner of this wonderful book is Bill Roper Jr., Chatt. USA)"

I take that to mean Chattanooga Tennessee... on www.411.com there are two Bill Ropers listed in Chattanooga. Anybody on here from Chattanooga by chance..?? Maybe they could ring up the Bill Ropers in Chattanooga and see if one is the right guy.

Who knows, he might be ready to part with the book.

BD... I've been on vacation this week but I will be back in the office tomorrow (Monday) and will chat up our library on getting this book shipped from the Library of Congress.

I spoke briefly on the phone with the library director and he is excited to give it a try.

I'll keep you posted.
