Do you know what year Rogers started and stopped making this model?

When i was 11 yrs old back in 1978 my parents bought me a used 5 pc. kit just like yours only it was a glossy dark wood color with the wood grain running through it. They paid $400 or $500 with the zildjians.

I believe that this configuration was introduced in 1967. I'm not sure when they discontinued this kit, but it probably continued through the swivomatic era (1975?).

Rogers were the Cadillac of the American drum industry in the 1960s. The beavertail lugged, Ohio made (Cleveland and Dayton) drums command the best money, though all of their swivomatic era drums are highly regarded.
