Thanks a lot Greg for including the VDF on this one.Huge discovery.OK, who is going to clean it up?

Hey Scott,

it looks like the owner is going to let me bring it up to playing condition. I'm super excited!

From Dan Boucher

Did you buy the kit or were you just lucky enough to get a cameo standing with it? Quite a cool find.

Hey Dan,

I didn't buy it, but it looks like the owner is going to let me help him find the right owner for this kit. He really didn't know any history of the Blaemires, so we had a great sit down session and I gave him a history lesson. ;-) I personally think it belongs in a museum of some sorts.

Two words... Holy Sh*t!Jerry would have been acting like a school boy if he was there with that kit. :DGood seeing you, great photo.John

Hey John,

I've been on cloud nine since seeing this kit. It is so bittersweet that Jerry couldn't see this kit. It was a very emotional day as I was telling the owner of this amazing Blaemire journey that all started with Jerry stumbling on to these crazy green tubs.

I've heard that Hal's kit is no longer there. It sure seems like the ideal place for this kit though.

It doesn't get much better than this. Way to carry the torch Greg and kudos to the current steward to be willing to let these go where they can be appreciated by all. It will be interesting to see where they finally land.

Museum is correct. Do the Beach Boys have any sort of a museum or repository of their history at this juncture?

Given all the friction over the years, I imagine a Beach Boys museum would consist of separate locked rooms probably on an ice floe.

I think Mike Love would do that if he could. Would probably be in Branson.
