Ummmm....... I just bought Powerstrokes to start with.
BUT HOWEVER! This looks like the perfect way to make headliners. A bit like O-Rings, but cover the hole head to make that wet 70's sound. Take an old worn Pinny, do that operation then lay the cut-out over you snare or Toms. I've used this in the Studio in the past, I recall think Bermuda talking about it on here around a month ago.
Ok, for me they sound much better than normal Powerstroke, i can`t explain, but there is a huge difference to the sound of a Remo Powerstroke when you cut out the upperlayer of a Pinstripe!
Deep with huge attack and a nice(not to long) sustain. Great:-)
