The difference is around $50-100 more for 1........guess which one........
Technically and mechanically, both the 3-point and Rapid strainers operate the same way. The difference is in the construction, which reflects the time period. When you compare the two side-by-side, it's easy to see how the 3-point morphed into the Rapid strainer.
