Differences between Rogers Tower lugs Last viewed: 34 minutes ago

Loading...

The other day I was looking at an old Tower kit, and noticed that all the lugs were the same size regardless of the size of the drum.

However, on the photos of different Tower models, the size of the lug varies.

The first 2 pics show the same lugs on bass and tom.

What's the rational behind this? Simple lack of supplies or intention?

Maybe they decided to use snare lugs on smaller toms?

one of the reasons I am asking this is that

I am contemplating to build a 3 piece kit in the style of Tower/Club-date.

Finding double-ended lugs of same style and different sizes may be a problem.

I am tempted to "cheat" using one type of snare lug on all.

Any thoughts?

This only one section of the lugs, so dig deeper.
