I don't know, but my dad has an antique clock whose winder looks a little like that and it also happens to fit drum lugs. Well, either that or he's been winding his clock with a drum key.

Having grown up around antiques, I have seen many clock keys, and that looks more like a clock key to me. It seems it is a "Moon and Sun" faced one. I'm not saying it is for certain, but seeing it seemed to strike through all the years of fog, bong resin and alcohol abuse to jar something loose from my youth...oh wait..that was the beef burrito from the roadside taqueria last night...uhhgg...brb.

An old clock key or old drum key........I'm happy to have it. Yes - it does look kind of cool.......a sort of medieval or viking flavour I think.

Or maybe it's a drum key for 19th century British drums, tension rods? I have one of these too. The tension rod was invented in the UK around 1837, so I've read.

Ihave one of those and was told it was a Ludwig and Ludwig. Does this mean I can tune a clock with a drum key?
