I agree, definitely original! WFL/Ludwig's version of WMP from that era is the only WMP that turned a shade of mint green like that, as seen in the 2nd photo.

February 29, 1960 was a historic day for Chicago and the world. Playboy magazine owner Hugh Hefner decided that Leap Year would be an appropriate time for him to open up the world's first Playboy Club.

I think this is reason enough to own the drum...
