Looks wrong to my with out some more photos,Iam guessing that its a home made snare ..I see a R.K. badge with 60's lugs. The drum could be a M.I.T. drum also...Mikey
Yeah, looks like it may have even been cut down, since I don't know of a small snare with that badge offered. Also the die cast top rim, right?
Just making sure this wasn't some ultra rare thing. A guy has it on C-list. Just covering my bases!
Thanks!

Not even CLOSE to being correct to a real Slingerland 4X14 Buddy Rich... which is what that one is modeled after. Badge.. finish.. Zoommatic copy.. hoops.. all WRONG. Most probably a "homemade", but using MIJ Slingerland copy parts. I'll attach a couple pics of my 1969 EARLY production Slingerland 4X14 Buddy Rich model snares. WMP and COW. You can easily SEE the difference!

Slingerland was producing 4x14 snare drums with that lug design up until the last drums roller out back in 2011 (I think) and they were produced in both the Taiwan and Nashville factories. The Nashvile factory did put out the drums with the cloud badge (A close up of the drum and better quality pictures would help) so the shell and the badge do look correct. The hoops are wrong though and look more like Gretsch hoops.

Not with that throw though... that's the IMPORT Zoomatic copy which heavily suggests that this drum is one of the Taiwan imports. Too many wrong parts here. I guess what I'm sayin is: If you want a 4X14 Buddy Rich, take your time and find the right one with the proper build/era! Also, Nashville was all done way before 2011. The LAST Slingerland drums built were coming out of Conway, Arkansas, and the cloud badge stated that as well. Conway did not offer this size that I remember.
