Downbeat Clubdates Last viewed: 12 minutes ago

I have a set of 12x8 14x13 20x14 clubdates. I refinished (resprayed the black to gold to black duco) and reliced the kit. the 12 and 20 are mahogany poplar maple shells. and the floor tom is 6 ply maple (an old Ludwig marching shell that was undrilled). the original 14 was too far damaged to use and so I used this shell. the kit is made to look old but drums are all playable and sound great. some small damage where kick spures are. also the front hoop is a little out of round. I replaced the inlays with 70's era sky blue pearl wrap. all drums date 1970 except the new 14. this is my favorite kit to gig with because if it gets a little scratched it adds to the character.

Those look incredible. Aside from the excellent relic job, the duco with that muted yellow is top notch. Hope you make a pleasant sale....

Thank you! It was actually my first duco I ever sprayed so I was pretty happy with the outcome. used a satin lacquer over the paint and then roughed them up using duct tape and small files to take back off paint and scratch the shells. really happy with the outcome.
