Drum appraiser needed for rare Rogers set Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

I have spent many hours scouring various vintage drum web sites over the years. As of today, I have seen only two other Rogers drum sets with a matching wood dynasonic snare drum. I read about one individual who had his appraised by someone well known in the field and as a result then sold the set for upwards of $7K. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a solid, reputable drum appraiser who is well versed in the world of Rogers drums......if so, please post his/her contact information as I would like to get my Rogers kit appraised.

Only every time I have a rare or valuable kit.

Maxwell's is the premier drum seller on the planet. They set the market prices more often than not. You'll get a fair current market value appraisal for your kit from them. They are professional and reliable.

You asked for "solid, reputable" well, it just doesn't get more solid or reputable than Maxwell's.

Best of luck...

This is what i think about your set..With over 30+ years dealing in vintage drums.Your rogers set is not that Rare of a set..I have sold about 100 or so sets with the matching Dynasonic snare drum.I have sold them from 2,000.00 to up to 3,500.00..Many things come into play with the priceing,Condition,Finish,Hardwear,Ete...Just a few weeks ago on ebay a Rogers Dynasonic snare in W.M.P. sold for 1,300.00...Mikey

I agree with Steve Maxwell for appraisal but it will be hard for even Steve to give an accurate appraisal. While vintage drum prices have fluctuated lately on eBay, I believe very nice original examples will still bring strong money.

I suppose it is possible for a kit with matching dyna to bring $7000, but I think there would be alot of factors that come into play, such as sizes, era, finish, condition, originality and last (but not least) the right buyer.

What are the details on your kit? Sizes, era and finish? What makes it rare? Maybe someone can provide an example of a recent sale of a similar kit on eBay.

Here's a third kit with matching dyna for you. I'm sure others will chime in with theirs.... Clev Bop kit.
